El acuerdo firmado entre la Federación Catalana de Voleibol y la empresa Creativialab ha permitido poner en marcha la edición 2017 del Campeonato de Cataluña de Voley Playa Vichy Catalan Volei Tour, que este año vuelve a tener categoria Open! El pistoletazo de salida se dará en la playa de Lloret de Mar, el 6 y 7 de mayo, y seguirá en estas fechas y poblaciones de Cataluña:

 ¿Quién puede participar? 

Todos los amantes del voleibol o que quieran iniciarse en este deporte pueden participar en el Campeonato de Cataluña de Vóley Playa, ya que hay categorías pensadas para que todos puedan gozar de este deporte

Por un lado, está el Campeonato de Cataluña Vichy Catalán Volei Tour, para jugadores federados i con ranking, por otro lado, está el Campeonato de Cataluña Open, para jugadores amateurs de todos los niveles.

Al torneo pueden inscribirse todos los amantes del vóley playa, estén o no federados.

¿Cómo se desarrollará el torneo? 

El sábado por la mañana se disputarán los partidos de fase previa tanto del Campeonato de Cataluña Vichy Catalan Volei Tour como del Open.

Los equipos que no superen la fase previa del Vichy y los vencedores del Open se encontraran en la pista el sábado por la tarde. Además, por la tarde continuaran los partidos tanto de categoría Vichy, para encontrar a los semifinalistas y finalistas que disputaran las finales el domingo.

La categoría Open del Campeonato de Cataluña gozará de sus propias finales el mismo sábado, dando por finalizada esta competición.

Todos los participantes que no se clasifiquen para las finales del Vichy, y los jugadores de categoría Open, podrán disputar durante el Domingo el ‘Open Mixto’, que en ocasiones también podrá ofrecer la categoría 4x.

Puntos 

La categoría Vichy del Campeonato de Cataluña de Vóley Playa tiene su propio ranking i puntúa para el ranking estatal de vóley playa.

Otra información importante

* La dotación en premios llega a los 10.000 € a lo largo del circuito, a parte de una aportación aproximada de 6.000 € en ayudas.

* La fase previa será de hasta 24 parejas, aumentando así las posibilidades de nuevos jugadores y jugadoras de entrar al torneo Vichy

* Las 4 pistas centrales estarán formadas por palos fijos de la mejor calidad, sillas de árbitros y otros elementos estructurales para gozar al máximo del torneo! El resto de pistas serán portátiles de gran calidad. Todas las finales, tanto las del Vichy como las del Open, se disputarán en pistas centrales y con árbitros federados.

* Vichy Catalan, name sponsoring del torneo, montará zona de Descanso para los jugadores. Además, en algunas sedes se instalará un área de promoción del vóley playa (con carpas y otras pistas), donde se ofrecerá degustación del producto a todos los que se acerquen a disfrutar del vóley playa.

* Habrá desayuno, bebida isotónica, agua y fruta para todos los participantes!

Premios 

El circuito está dotado con premios económicos en el Campeonato de Catalunya Vichy Catalan Volei Tour, y con premios en material y aportaciones de colaboradores, regalos y trofeos para las categorías Open.

The Vichy Catalan Vòlei Tour – 2017 Championship of Catalonia in detail

The agreement between the Catalan Volleyball Federation (FCVb) and the company Creativialab allows for the launch of the 2017 edition of the Beach Volleyball Championship of Catalonia Vichy Catalan Volei Tour, which this year will again include the Open category! It will kick off on the beach at Lloret de Mar on May 6 and 7 and will continue on the following dates in towns across Catalonia:

Who can participate?

All volleyball enthusiasts or those who want to give it a try can take part in the Beach Volleyball Championship of Catalonia Tour as there are enough categories for everyone to be able to enjoy the sport.

There is the Championship of Catalonia Vichy Catalan Volei Tour for ranked and federated players, and there is also the Open Championship of Catalonia for all level of amateur players.

Whether federated or not, all lovers of volleyball can sign up.

How will the championship proceed? 

On Saturday morning qualifying matches will be held both for the Vichy Catalan Volleyball Championship of Catalonia Tour and for the Open Championship of Catalonia.

Teams that do not make it out of the qualifying stage of the Vichy and the winners of the Open will square off at the nets on Saturday afternoon. In the afternoon, matches continue in the Vichy that determine semi-finalists and finalists. The finals are played on Sunday.

As for the Open category of the Championship of Catalonia, the finals will be held on Saturday, bringing that competition to a close.

All those who do not qualify for the Vichy finals, along with the players from the Open, can compete throughout Sunday in the 'mixed Open', which at times can include 4-on-4 matches.

Points

The category Vichy at the Beach Volleyball Championships of Catalonia has its own ranking and also counts toward national beach volleyball rankings.

Inmportant additional information 

* Prize money totals €10,000 throughout the circuit apart from a contribution of approximately €6,000 in aid.

* The first round will include up to 24 pairs, thereby increasing opportunities for new players to enter the tournament.

* The four central courts include the highest quality fixed poles, referee chairs and other equipment so the tournament can be enjoyed to the fullest! The remaining courts are portable and of high quality. All the finals of both the Vichy and the Open are played on the central courts and with federated referees.

* Vichy Catalan, the tournament's main sponsor, will host a rest area for players. Additionally, at some sites of the tournament they will install an area for promoting beach volleyball (with a tent and three courts) where their refreshing products will be on offer to whomever comes to enjoy beach volleyball.

* Breakfast, sports drinks, water and fruit will be available to all participants!

Awards

The circuit will award cash prizes for the Championship of Catalonia, with material prizes and contributions of partners, gifts and trophies for the Open categories.
