Después de una corta pausa, otra localidad catalana acoge un fin de semana del mejor voley playa, en el marco del Campeonato de Cataluña que organiza la Federación Catalana de Voleibol y patrocina la reconocida marca de aguas Vichy Catalan.

En esta ocasión es la población tarraconense de Cunit, concretamente la playa de Les Sorres, donde los días 8 y 9 de julio continúa la edición 2017 del Vichy Catalan Volei Tour y del Open FCVb. La prueba se presentará oficialmente el martes 4 de julio, en un acto que es hará en el ayuntamiento de la población a la una del mediodía.

Descubrir Cunit a pie

Los inscritos en el Vichy Catalan Volei Tour y en el Open FCVb tienen la oportunidad de conocer el patrimonio arquitectónico e histórico de Cunit con una interesantísima visita guiada, que tendrá lugar el sábado día 8. La ruta se iniciará a las siete de la tarde en la Oficina de Turismo (C. Francesc Macià 3, indicado en azul en el mapa), y finalizará una hora después en la plaza de la iglesia. La actividad es gratuita.

En el caso de los participantes en cualquiera de las dos pruebas que tengan interés en pasar el fin de semana en la población, y ahorrarse así una parte de los traslados, encontrarán información sobre alojamiento en este enlace.

Cómo llegar a Cunit

Desde la capital catalana se puede llegar a Cunit con la línea R2 Sud de Rodalies de Catalunya (Cercanías). Desde Tarragona se accede con las líneas R14, R15 y R16 hasta Sant Vicenç de Calders, y haciendo transbordo en esta población a la línea R2 Sud.

Por lo que respecta al vehículo privado, desde las cuatro capitales catalanas se llega por la autopista C-32 (Pau Casals).

Everything ready for the fifth round of the Vichy Catalan Voley Tour

After a short break, another Catalan town will host a whole weekend of the best beach volley, in the frame of the Catalonia Championship. This is organized by the Catalan Volleyball Federation and sponsored by the well-known company Vichy Catalan.

The town of Cunit will host the games of the tournament's 2017 edition on July 8th and 9th - the Les Sorres beach to be precise. The round will be officially presented on Tuesday, July 4th at 1 pm in the local town hall.

Discovering Cunit on foot

Those registed to play either at Vichy Catalan Volei Tour or Open FCVb have a unique chance to get to know the architectonical and historical heritage of Cunit, thanks to a guided visit that will take place on Saturday, July 8th. The meeting point will be the local tourism office located at Francesc Macià 3 street, at 7 pm, and it will finish about one hour later. This is a free activity.

How to reach Cunit

The town of Cunit can be easily reached by train: R2 Sud line from Barcelona, as well as with the lines R14, R15 or R16 to Sant Vicenç de Calders, and then transfer to the R2 Sud line from Tarragona.

As for the private vehicles, the highway C-32 connects Cunit with the major Catalan cities.
